A good wig worth at least 400 € indicates the Thouarsaise

Céline Leite, hairdresser in Louzy french lace wig, joined the Solid'hair network. Her goal is to collect hair strands to help patients get a wig.

Céline Leite is a pioneer. It is indeed the only hairdresser in Thouarsais, and one of the few in the Deux-Sèvres, to have joined the young national network Solid'hair. Created in 2015, the latter aims "to collect hair wicks only natural and then sell them to wigs hair wig, it is thus explained on the website www.association-solidhair.fr. With the money recovered, we are funding people with cancer and financial hardship to give them a little more dignity. "And thus to enable them to obtain quality capillary prostheses.

"A good wig worth at least 400 € indicates the Thouarsaise Céline Leite, whose salon has been installed for four years rue des Charmes, in Louzy. Social security only reimburses 125 € ... Many people simply do not have the means. "
To benefit from the aid, up to a maximum of 300 €, the patients must not hesitate to contact the association directly. And to help the association, nothing more simple: just give his hair. "I offer the price of the cup, the customer only has to pay for shampooing and blow drying," says the young woman. That is a reduction of about 50% on the overall score.
Only condition: that the hair is at least 25 cm long. For the rest, girls and boys, all colors and all ages are welcome. "There's an 82-year-old lady who donated a meter of hair," says Leite. She did not hesitate long to embark on the adventure: "I work alone, it creates a proximity that I appreciate and the customers too," says the hairdresser. One can not remain insensitive when a client explains that she will not be able to come in the next few months because she is about to undergo chemotherapy ... I think it's important to help publicize this association. "
Finally, those who wish to participate without changing a hairdresser or hairdresser are reassured: "I participate in Solid'hair as hairdresser but also custodian, concludes Céline Leite. People have only to bring me their strands of hair. And turn small scissors into a big boost.
